How we work

From mandate to execution

Four stages. Each one has to close properly before the next is worth starting.

  1. 01

    Mandate

We define the product, specification, volume, origin, destination and commercial requirements.

  2. 02

    Sourcing

We identify relevant supply opportunities matching the mandate.

  3. 03

    Coordination

We facilitate communication, commercial discussions and documentation between relevant parties.

  4. 04

    Execution

We support the agreed transaction through the execution process.

How we hold it

The specification comes first

A requirement without a specification is not yet a mandate. We would rather spend an extra day defining grade, tolerance and shipment window than circulate something vague and waste everyone's time.

We work for one side at a time

On any given mandate it is clear whose requirement we are acting on. That is what keeps the commercial discussion straightforward for both parties.

Discretion is part of the service

Counterparty names, pricing and terms stay between the parties they concern. Nothing shared with us in the course of a mandate is used elsewhere.
